Prayers sent for a successful move and for a more pleasant future ahead -- living in a house with a yard sounds downright decadent. (I'm not a big city person.) May all go well!
Hooray for disability benefits! And hooray for your new house! Boy do I hear you about renting. I wish I could purchase a house for all the reasons you listed! I’m so glad it has worked out for you and Andrew to do so - especially one as adorable as the pictures you shared!
Wow! I’m so happy and excited for you both. This sounds like a lovely new step and I can picture you both very happy in such a setting. More pictures please.
Dear Christina, The house looks amazing, s perfectly splendid rest and retreat place. I pray that it will give you financial respite and help you heal. I too have had an EEG, only for overnight 12 hour shift. I can't imagine 48 hours. Just know it will take four rounds of shampooing your hair to get the gunk that is keeping your electrodes in place out of said hair. Thinking of you!

Oh Christina, brain injury be damned, you are one of my favourite writers!
This is really good news! It reminds me of a weekend retreat for city dwellers. I hope it works out as a retreat for you both.

That's big news! May the unanticipated consequences all be good ones.
I suspect this is the beginning of a fine mid-life adventure!
I hope it’s going to be peaceful and relaxing! (Also I’m so glad you’re moving to the country at the same time as me!)
The disability came through!? Hooray!
That looks like a wonderful change!
That porch is perfect.
Come visit!
